The Lindbergh 1927 Club Chair is crafted using traditional manufacturing methods from the late 1920s. Its upholstery is made from 100% full-grain sheepskin leather (also known as basane) with a thickness of 1.4/1.6 mm. This material is resistant, supple, and exceptionally soft to the touch. We collaborate with a French tannery that uses traditional vegetable tanning techniques, ensuring the leather’s authenticity and quality. The chair’s frame and legs are made from solid beech wood, a premium material that guarantees durability and longevity.
Unparalleled Comfort and Customisation
The comfort of a club chair largely depends on its padding. Therefore, we provide three options: soft, medium, or firm. You can also add biconical spring suspension (installed within the frame) for supplementary seating flexibility. The dyeing, patina, and waxing are all done by hand, allowing us to offer custom finishes. Feel free to contact us for bespoke productions. Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
