The Léon Club Chair is an original model featuring a straight backrest and finely crafted armrest. This unique and charming seat offers the legendary comfort of club chairs. With its premium sheepskin leather upholstery, it creates a warm and cosy atmosphere.
The Léon Club Chair is a unique model characterised by its straight backrest and finely crafted armrests. This distinctive chair exudes a lot of charm while supplying the legendary comfort inherent to club chairs. Its sheepskin leather upholstery creates a warm and enchanting atmosphere. The Léon Club Chair is a product of retro design, featuring fine and particularly elegant lines that will add a superb touch to any room. Its straight and very high backrest is slightly inclined backward, providing perfect support for the back while inviting relaxation.
This original piece of furniture is covered in sheepskin leather. This full-grain sheepskin leather, processed using traditional vegetable tanning methods by a renowned tannery, retains all its genuine qualities. Thus, it maintains its natural thickness (1.4 to 1.6 mm) and the small marks that add to the charm of high-end leathers.
Moreover, it is a fine satin-finished leather that offers incredible softness to the touch. The back of its backrest is subtly highlighted with a row of tacks, a delicate finish that enhances its retro design. This model is available in a wide range of colours, including honey, Havana, chocolate, cognac, red, black, antique green, and English green. If these colours do not match your interior decor, we can create a custom shade based on a sample provided by you.
The Léon Club Chair is a model with a small footprint. This characteristic allows it to fit into any room, even the smallest spaces. Despite its modest size, it is designed to peaceful accommodate a person of large stature. Your comfort will be ensured by its fine armrests, padded backrest, and sufficiently deep cushioned seat. The sturdiness of this model is guaranteed by its solid beechwood frame. This wood, known for its strength and durability, is kiln-dried before being assembled by hand by our craftsmen. This ensures that it will remain stable over time, despite use and temperature changes.
This model also features four square-shaped beechwood legs. These legs enhance its originality and help to reinforce the overall structure. Finally, the waxing and patina are applied by hand, according to your favourites. Some clients prefer a detailed and intense patina, while others like to let time take its course.

Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
There are 2 types of frames:
The seat cushion is less steep, which makes it easier to get up.
The seat cushion is lowered more, which can cause problems when standing up.
