It is treated by a master tanner of the basane d’or using vegetable tanning, the only process that respects the natural characteristics of the hides, making the leather even more supple and durable.Sublime from the front, it is also stunning from the back, thanks to the trim marked by hand-applied upholstery nails.
Moreover, this delicate finish will delight lovers of authentic vintage decor. From the armrests to the backrest to the seat, all contact surfaces are generously padded. Everything in the making of this high-end sofa has been designed to be comfortable and durable, ensuring it remains so for a long time. Its frame and legs are made of solid beech wood. We kiln-dry the wood before hand-assembling it.
This type of wood, renowned for its density and robustness, is traditionally used for the construction of all club chairs. To add even more personality to this exceptional piece of furniture, you can choose from 8 leather colours. However, if none of the standard shades appeal to you, we also offer custom colours.

Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
There are 2 types of frames:
The seat cushion is less steep, which makes it easier to get up.
The seat cushion is lowered more, which can cause problems when standing up.
