In the 18th century, Lord Chesterfield commissioned a unique armchair from his artisans. It had to be tufted and designed with a cosy seat that wouldn’t wrinkle clothing. Thus, the Chesterfield armchair was born. Its sophisticated style and unmatched comfort have made it a highly sought-after and iconic piece.
The Chesterfield Buckingham office chair is the epitome of simplicity, elegance, and comfort, making it the centrepiece of any office. It evokes the cosy, refined atmosphere of English gentlemen’s clubs.
Its upholstery, crafted from basane leather, is both soft and satin-like, bringing a touch of warmth and sophistication to your interior. This full-grain sheepskin leather is robust, supple, and built to last, treated with traditional vegetable tanning methods practised by some of the last remaining French tanneries.
The high backrest and winged sides positioned at head level give this armchair a distinguished appearance while offering an enveloping level of comfort. Refined and elegant, the Chesterfield Buckingham office chair adds a uniquely luxurious touch to any space.
One of this model’s standout features is its diamond-tufted upholstery, a hallmark of artisanal craftsmanship. The sophisticated design is further enhanced by rolled armrests, delicately accented with upholstery nails, a high-end finish also present along the seat and backrest edges.
Above all, an office chair must be comfortable. The place to sit of this armchair is equipped with springs, allowing you to work for hours in a cocoon of well-being. This typically English feature ensures optimal relaxation.
The frame and legs are crafted from kiln-dried solid beechwood, a particularly dense and strong material that provides durability and robustness.
The seven-legged base with casters makes the armchair highly manoeuvrable and easy to move. Additionally, you can adjust the chair’s height effortlessly with a discreet lever located under the seat.
The Chesterfield Buckingham office chair is a handcrafted furniture masterpiece that combines aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.

Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.

The seat cushion is less steep, which makes it easier to get up.
