The Epicure Club Chair is a plush and elegant seat inspired by Epicureanism. Every detail exudes simplicity, comfort, and quality. Its sleek and curved lines are enhanced by a full-grain leather upholstery with a thickness of 1.4/1.6 mm, also known as basane. This high-end leather is particularly durable and easy to maintain. Thanks to its traditional vegetable tanning process carried out by our expert tanner, it will accompany you for decades.
Beyond its beauty and incredible durability, this leather provide a very pleasant candle-like touch. You can place your Epicure Club Chair in any room of your choice, adding charm and authenticity.
Its high, rounded backrest supplies excellent back support. As for the arms, they rest nonchalantly on the padded and plump armrests. To meet your comfort expectations, we propose three types of cushioning: soft (puffed fibres), medium (flat fibres), or firms (42 kg/m3 polyurethane foam).
Also, we can optionally add biconical springs to increase the chair’s seating flexibility. Furthermore, we offer 2 types of suspension for the structure: fixed (the cushioning is only on the seat cushion) or semi-traditional (the articulated framework deforms under body weight).
The Epicure Club Chair is handcrafted using traditional methods. Its frame and legs are made of solid beech, a noble and robust wood that ensures its long lifespan. Before assembling it manually, we kiln-dry the wood. This process stabilises the wood, making it ready to withstand the passage of time and temperature variations without moving an inch.
The leather patches on the backrest are fixed with upholstery nails. This charming finish, applied by our upholsterers, highlights the sleek design of this model. However, we can replace it with a piped finish if preferred.
The dyeing, patina, and waxing are all performed by hand by our artisans. This allows you to customise your club chair. The Epicure model is an exceptional piece of furniture that, with proper care, will accompany you for decades. This timeless seat is available in eight colours: honey, Havana, chocolate, cognac, red, black, antique green, and English green. However, we also work with samples. Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
