Designed in an English decor style, it is perfect for your evening reading by the fire. Its incomparable comfort and its retro look offer you a pleasant and nostalgic frame.
This model of English style armchair appeared in the late 18th century and was a phenomenal success from the following century.
Recognizable by its high back and wide armrests, it stands out with a padded leather upholstery. Later, the velvet and the fabric came to reinforce the palette of coatings.
His vintage style recreates the atmosphere of former English clubs in your living room where gentlemen gathered to debate political life.
With a bit of imagination, it’s almost like being surrounded by cigar smoke and the smell of whiskey.
Let yourself be seduced by the fineness of the finishes of a Churchill Chesterfield Chair. Under its retro look, you will discover a solid frame and feet in solid wood.
The cushions were originally stuffed with horsehair or silk wadding and goose feathers. Without compromising the comfort of the seats, these materials have been replaced by polyester foam.
Patinated and satin by hand, the leather is perfectly nuanced. The craftsmen have paid particular attention to making upholstery to optimize your comfort. The seam of a first canvas serves to highlight each capiton and to facilitate the coating of the whole.

Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
There are 2 types of frames:
The seat cushion is less steep, which makes it easier to get up.
The seat cushion is lowered more, which can cause problems when standing up.
